I know I'm in some of these pics posted somewhere on these interwebs- my daughter is Autistic and crowded shopping malls and stores would overwhelm her. She rode in a cart (where the items go) until she was almost 13. She could handle the chaos of shopping if she was confined. She craves enclosed spaces when she's in sensory overload. She still has what's considered an adult stroller- it's not quite a wheelchair- and I've caught more than a few people snapping paparazzi pics of us over the years. The thing is, if the child is obviously not young then why is the first response to these situations to snap a pic and poke fun? Isn't it obvious that a child who's clearly older than first or second grade (And then that may be pushing it) that there's something more going on than either an unruly child or an over protective parent? Js
Most people never grow out of grade school, sadly.
And now with our wonderful "phones", we think we have license to invade everyone's privacy. Or at least post evidence for the world to ignorantly speculate on.
We should really, REALLY stop judging people on appearances. That's middle-ages business here.
