Have you seen what army ants can do? They can take down lizards. And driver ants can take down humans if they're sleeping.

Organic metal, kind of like how there's naturally occurring carbon fiber.

In an animal or insect tho? We dont live on Pandora. Also, carbon fiber is useless without the resin to bind it together.

It could be something like an iron deposit, it is possible for iron to 'grow' if it happens to settle someplace, or its possible that the ant had a gland on its head that took iron from its diet and used it to produce its horn similar to how humans and other animals use Keratin to make hair and claws. But I'm just throwing out theories here I really have no clue.
