Isn't blood orange a shade of red, though? Like a really orangey red rather than just red? And if you're working in an art industry like fashion there needs to be distinction
The inside of a blood orange when ripe is almost purple. Granted purple is a shade of red. But it is most assuredly nothing at all to do with the color she is dealing with. She should have said"It's like that tomato red."
No,no. You fail to understand. If you are adulting it is required that you go beyond the Kindergarten colors. You don't say red.You say crimson or rosy. You don't say green. You say chartreuse or citrine. She could never have simply said red. But ifyou add a fruit or vegetable in front it's cool. Avocado green, lemon yellow, candy apple red and so forth. Her mistake was proving she had no idea about the fruit that she mentioneds place on the fruit color wheel.
