"slow" impact glass breakage

Thought this was gonna be one of those loops where it never hit the glass

On related glass braking note; doe anyone how to get glass splinters out of carseats? Vacuuming doesn't do anything anymore and eventhough I'm getting a "seatsaver" for my dogs tomorrow so my dogs can enjoy their rides savely but I really want my car glass splinter free
