Well the British one could be "the great British baking show" the American one could be "Hell's Kitchen"

But it is an American show. Having a British judge or host is a a super common with American shows.

I'm fairly certain that the o.p. hasn't actually seen an American cooking show. Japanese, maybe, but not American.
