If they can't pay they get fine violations until the city says enough is enough. Then they get sent to jail. Then taxes are raised to cover the fines. Should've just raised taxes in the first place.
CounterCurrent News is also referenced on various platforms as a "fringe news source" and the only time they've shown up on Snopes was on a false claim. Some sources like MediaBiasFactCheck.com (legit?) classify CounterCurrent as heavy supporters of conspiracy theories and pseudoscience.
