The whole isle went quiet

Yeah so? When I first started my cashier job, one of the workers there had a fairly fresh scar under her eye. I didn't bring it up, but someone else did ask. She got in a knife fight. All she said was 'This isn't bad compared to the other guy.' But here's the thing. She is one of the nicest, smartest people I've met. Unless you're just a dick who fucks around with people for no reason, she would be a great friend. She is literally the personification of the whole 'badass with a soft side' thing.
