If you want to marry somebody then marry them. If you need to change them for you to want to marry them, then you don't actually want to marry them.

Sacrifices must be made, yes, but if you take away so many attributes that make him him then how can you expect to either of you to love one another? You essentially turned someone you "loved" into someone else in that same body. Best case scenario they only develop a bit of hatred towards you for changing them so much that will escalate leading to a hate filled marriage that is only held together by your six year old daughter that you don't want to set a bad example to.

I'm gonna have to agree with sir_spiderman here. Depending on what you're asking, if you don't want to be with someone unless they change, you don't want to be with them, you want a different version of them, and that isn't fair to them when they can find someone who can love them for all they offer or have.

The Smoking and drinking part is fine,If the guy has is a habitual. You don't wanna lose your love against addiction. But I guess going to clubs has nothing bad about them. Well that's just overkill
