Fun fact: veterans are dying at a rate that professional bugle players can’t keep up with, hence the need for “fake” bugle players at veteran funerals.

As a trombone player I've found it's pretty easy to play a bugle, trumpet players are better but I've seen tons of brass players of all kinds get hired for a funeral
