I can't imagine working with someone long enough that she would "finally" have the guts to express feeling towards me, and never had said something like "my wife told me that..." Or "I got this from my wife."

So? If you'd rather be with that one then just be with it. If you have kids then start drugging the mother to make her addicted to cocaine and claim custody - if you want. You could also just have an affair or perhaps, if you see a shot, try talking her into a poly relationship. There's plenty of options on the table.

Don't worry, I plan to adopt a little 4-5 year old girl eventually. Not a big fan of males as I've mentioned before. I'm sure whatever insane and morally questionable lover I may have will accept her as mine.
