Blind AND deaf. I wouldn't even want to imagine... That must be a truly hard life.

This is cool but, I just wanna know, how does she knows what a Christmas carol is? Does her mom do sign language on her hand to let her know what’s going on? I have so many other questions.

We once talked about it in school, and yes, apparently that's basically how it works. Sign language on her hands or her body in general. Even though I fail to imagine how you even learn that.

I mean the only thing I can think is if the person is born deaf/blind then everything they are taught growing up would just like a “normal” person would be taught. When they are introduced to water I guess they got a certain touch to hand or body part to identify that. Only as long as the person had somebody to teach them. But what if somebody was just thrown into a room due to somebody not wanting to take the time to teach the person the ways of life. How should ya go about introducing that person, who is now let’s say 19, to something they never knew from the get go. That would be a very tough time for both.
