Can I just point out that society is more than philosophy. If we spent all day talking about morals and values and life, we’d soon run out of culture and social normality. You can’t have your cake and eat it too.
Although it would be nice to hear more convos about big things, there’s nothing wrong with discussing the trivial as well

Whether you're religious or not, I'd recommend C.S. Lewis's writings. "The Abolition of Man" uses culture of the time as a launch pad into the philosophy of choice vs instinct. You then see those deeper moral/philosophical threads woven into the fiction he writes, which creates more sociocultural references, etc.
Again, religious or not, Lewis's writings often combine culture and philosophy in refreshing ways, especially when compared with the Kardashians.
Do people talk about them? I only hear people complain about them on the internet. In fact, if we all stopped bitching, I'd never hear about them at all. So what's stopping us from achieving this is you. Thanks a lot.

People do talk about them. Mostly women, and mostly gossipy women. Spend one day in an elementary school teachers lounge, and you'll feel like Keanu

Ever think about that, Keanu?
