No. They would have literally no legal basis to sue and even if they did have the most concrete reason on earth to sue Disney would fuck them over.

I liked star wars 8. I get how they're trying to expand the franchise and appreciate the effort put into trying to continue the star wars legacy

No, they aren't expanding the plot, they're killing my favorite franchise. They destroyed the expanded universe, they could have just kept it going, but noooo.

Yeah that was pretty stupid. We could've gotten a movie about the New Republic and the Yuuzhan Vong but no.
