and they're also filled with nitrogen so the chips stay fresh longer inside the bag, which results in more empty space.

Right, it had better be nitrogen (or some other inert gas) and not air! I don't want nasty stale chips!

Yeah but they don't need that much air. Other chip brands have less

This is why Pringles are the best chips.

Aren't Pringles made out of potato-corn dough rather than just potatoes though? Because Pringles are great but tbh I prefer just baked/fried potato crisps. Especially the local brand we have in our country, idk how they do it but their chips always taste very slightly burned but still flavourful and delicious.

Pringles are just fried mashed potatoes with wheat-flour in them.

I find Pringles totally overrated, it's like overspiced fried cardboard. I think what ewqua refers to are kettle chips which are the real stuff. They don't need a mile long list of ingredients to taste great.

Oh yeah, kettle chips is probably the best way to describe them. I didn't know there was an expression for that in English. And yes, it's absolutely my favourite type. Just pure potato, no flour, no corn, no extra ingredients apart from the flavouring.

I'm sure this artist used to draw Judge Dredd in the 2000 A.D. comics
