The other day, there were this couple bringing their kid to the movie
It's was for 16 and above. The kid is freaking 8!
Do you want your kid to get traumatized? Cause that's how you get your kid traumatized

I seen way worse before age 8.
(anybody remember girls gone wild for example?)
your kid will be mentally screwy if they are sheltered/overprotected like that.
let them see what's out there, whether it's good or bad. if anything, they'll be ahead of the other kids.
they will only be traumatized if you wait until later to let them explore the world, trust me on that.
I really hate this aspect of this generation where everyone is so overprotective with a passion.
There are still reasons that these movies are rated the way they are and that is to keep kids from seeing things that maybe they shouldn’t at such a young age. Maybe as they’re older and maybe it depends on the movie but bringing your kid to a movie when they’re 1/2 the age they should be isn’t the best idea
