My granddad carries around insulin shots in a little bag at his hip. Insulin IS refrigerated, yes, but it can handle a few hours outside the fridge. It would be a bother to keep it at home and have to go home every time you needed it, wouldn't it?
Insulin doesnt need to be refrigerated constantly? You take it out of the fridge and put it with your stuff and use it til
A) it runs out
Or
B) 30 days pass.
The fridge is for unopened insulin so it lasts until you need it.

Your username is so relevant to this discussion. Love it :D
Insulin isn't a huge show for attention ? It's no more distracting than your neighbor sharpening a pencil but with the bonus of health risks if you don't do it. So if your comfort is more important than someone medicine being taken that's a you problem.

@guest Geez, dude, what is your problem? You've been going around posting negative and demeaning crap on almost every post you visit. Everything okay in your life? Are you having a nervous breakdown or going thru some stuff? Perhaps you need a loooooong hug.
