The demon

Angels and Demons are the same thing. It's about perspective. I think you missed the point.

Been a long time since I read a bible and not trying to start an argument here, genuine question. How are they the same? Isn’t one supposed to be a nasty being that does ill, and the other a kind being that does right?
And as far as the point, wasn’t it that theres a demon in your room and somehow, despite it being evil, it became your friend? What was the further point than that?

That's what the catholic church and a few branches would teach, yes. But remember who the first fallen angel and original demon was. Look at Lilith and how she became "corrupted" and became a demon... it was by an archangel. This is all besides the point.
How do you currently feel? Are you hiding a feeling from someone? Why? Have you recently gone off on someone? Why? What motivated you on each one? Take both those and switch your motivations so you don't go off on someone... why did you hide a feeling? All the angels and demons are ultimately just you and whatever your motivations are. You are both your angels and demons... you own both sides. Heaven isn't up, Hell isn't down... Heaven and Hell are states of mind.

As for the demon in the room... sometimes we can help others for a selfish need to prove a point. Pretty much what I just did. Or would you encourage me to encourage you to believe in Santa?
