When I was in highschool there was military recruiters with the college booths for us seniors to get to see what we want to do after highschool. Well each military and college got to have a 5 minute speech before we got to go to the booths. After they all gave speeches we we're allowed to ask questions. One kid asked the man from the army if he killed anyone because he said he was in Vietnam. He said yes because it was his job as a soldier. Than the same kid said how many. The man looked him dead in the eye and said only enough to make it home and no more than he need to.
Mrscollector: that kid was young and stupid. No life experience yet. The people that spit on our vets coming home from Vietnam should have been booted out of the country. I can't stand Jane Fonda 'Hanoi Jane' . Never ask a vet or a cop if he killed people. Young and dumb can be forgiven. That same kid might enlist in a year or two ,ya never know.
Actually from what I heard he became an EMT.
And yeah if you met the guy he was a huge ass. But I heard after a year or 2 of being an EMT he became nicer and more adult lol.
If he was a kid in elementary school it could of been easily forgiven for asking the questions but the guy was 17 or 18 years old at the time he should of known better.
He's a bit sick anyway.
