Wait, why it shouldn't matter? It fucking should! He was your friend Goddammit, so what you never met him. You need some new real life friends.
Also, That's really sad man. It's... a feeling which can't be described. We can just say that it really sucks. I hope you recover from it.
One of my fears is that if something were to happen to me or one of my friends, I/they would never know. People seriously doubt the power of an online friendship, but the worst part is not being able to be there.
My best friend (also an internet friend) is currently battling Crohn’s Disease. She’s 17. I’m 13. We live on separate coasts of the U.S. She’s currently for the better of it, but it scares me to think that at any moment something could happen to her and I wouldn’t be able to be there for her, or even worse, I could never even know. I wish I could be better for her. I wish I knew how to support her despite our distance.
What's the difference between getting to know someone between states during gaming, and real life? People say they can easily lie online, but people can lie just as much online as face-to-face. In fact, several studies show that online friends boosts confidence and self-esteem more than real life, and it's easier to vent and/or tell the truth and what's on your mind online as well. When you have good friends online, at that point, there's no difference.
Bless you, I truly believe death isn’t the end and that when we dream we are visited sometimes , when you go to sleep think of your conversations and things he would say and do , and when you wake up have a pen and paper by the bed. Helped me when I lost a BF 20 years ago xx
