As in balloon. I don't know much about it, sorry, but I think it's aimed at bringing reliable internet to rural areas that get little or no coverage now

South Africa as a whole needs that then, our Internet is shit, we hear Russians complain about having 150ping lag and we laugh in pain cause our average ping is 200-230... still people manage yo amke it to top 500 on csgo and overwatch...

I think they're more concerned with getting infrastructure to eg underdeveloped parts of the world than improving gamer lag tbh

I'm saying we have infrastructure but it's terrible and super over priced plus the connection is terrible. Like seriously you pay a crap ton for Internet service and the damn network is down like half the time (ok an exaggeration on the half of the time but network goes down a lot and providers never tell you why). i wouldn't complain if it wasn't so expensive, but the problem is you pay through your ass for a service you barely get. There is also only like 1 Internet provider aside from phone companies and they're all seriously expensive with monopoly strangle holds on everything.

That moment when we're focusing on expensive as hell mobile data, with out of control tariffs, rather than trying to get faster home broadband...
