In a theater I used to go to they had random "stop 'n searches". Kinda like in airport security.

Ticket sales don't go to the theatres. Concessions pay for operation costs. Shut up and stop bitching about it and support your local theatre.

It is fair considering that's where all their profit comes from. Literally 90-95% of movie sales go back to the studios. The only way movie theaters operate is through snacks so, they have to be high priced.
