Oh, only all relevant engineers and scientists, who generally agree on the metric system as being totally superior. But it seems, the imperial system makes it easier for some people to relate to temps and distances. Like people who grew up with it are not that flexible.

Yes very important for the engineers and scientists on this engineering and scientific forum, wait this isn’t a forum it’s funsubstance! It doesn’t really matter here

Fahrenheit is body temperature
Celsius/Centigrade is water temperature
But in any calculations related to temperature they would have used Celsius, or even Kelvin, which is just like Celsius except that instead of the freezing point of water, 0 Kelvin is the freezing point of the universe and physics as we know them.

Celsius is part of the metric system which can easily relate units like mass, dimension and temperature and relation with each other in any possible combination, which is why naturally the metric system was the base of all calculations and of course of the computers used for the moon landing. As the imperial system, was (still is) used in aviation, any figures would be converted to the imperial system for the displays. Only people who confuse the surface with what's beneath could come up with such a sorry meme. The russians who had the first manned space flight in human history of course used metric, because how else would that work out at all?
°F -> who cares
Celsius/Centigrade is water temperature
