Probably something like dense tree cover, which might be why the fire spread so quickly

Yeah, but from the higher part of the mountain he should have been able to see somethin, I mean its a fairly large city, the lights at night. Plus, the planes coming and going. Or did I dig too deep into a Polish joke ?
