Says the walking PR stunt. If the products didn't have Elon Musk and the weird cult of personality he has somehow developed, they would have faded away years ago.
Be careful @pokethebear- the man is well loved and doing things people think will benefit us all. Any criticism or reality which sullies saint musk is heresy and will be down voted (not by me. Uovote for truth.)
People want the benefits of socialism and like the socialist aspects of musk- but at the end of the day our government backs private enterprise that isn't owned by you or I even if we benefit from it existing.
He's specifically talking about advertising. No where in that tweet did he state anything about funding. He's got billions so 100 million is nothing, but since everyone is throwing money at him why wouldn't he take it?
That's a good question. Personally, I can't say I'd do otherwise. But the fact that the man has grandiose dreams, supposedly noble intentions, or whatever other traits doesn't erase any negatives. He did specifically discuss advertising- but he also states a product lives or does on its own merits. The contention that such a product is tax payer subsidized through government funding counters that statement since that would mean a product lives or does on its own merits, and how hard the government wants to prop it up and support it.
Seriously guest? If you had $20 and needed something that cost $1 would it mean nothing if somebody gave it to you for nothing? Same percentages there.
Smdh. I get disagreeing on perspective but true is true even if you don't like it. Some folks just love that little thumb. Likely since they can't articulate an opinion.
