Plants are afraid to die

That's the reason I'm not vegan - just because they don't scream, doesn't mean they don't suffer. Interestingly enough, at the beginning of the XXth century there wasn't any anesthesies for babies because the pain was so intense they didn't scream, and so scientists misinterpreted their silence and thought they waren't feeling anything.
