The voice in your head

Has anyone else ever just had a really LOUD THOUGHT like their brain was yelling, and the volume in your head was way up?

Is this why when we get headaches it hurts so much? Because we are used to our brain being the same volume??? I mean I know it isn't the complete reason but maybe a part of it?

...but can change tone
