When I was about 10 till I was 17 my family grew up across the street from a family just like ours, alot of kids Dad a cop, mom a minimum wager, and grandma staying at home helping with the kids. Just like us but their oldest was 8 and he was deaf.
All us kids learned a few signs and the alphabet so we could all play. One of the funniest things I seen him do was when he didn't want to "listen" to what we had to say if we we're arguing with him he would put his fingers in his ears after signing "I can't hear you" and than make sounds like he was humming.
He was 100% deaf from birth so he didn't have to plug his ears but seeing so many people doing it on TV to other people he thought it was funny to do it to others when he was mad at them. lol
