Technically online books are still books.

Yup. But it is a lot different than actual books. The smell, the feel, the covers, etc. E-books can never provide that.

It's true. There may be a lot to read online, but it can't replace a "book". (Their smell is what got me addicted to reading in the first place)

Yup, most prefer paper books (including myself), but I don't buy many, cuz I like trees and oxygen more.

Real books will never fade I don't think (unless we run out of paper) but many many people appreciate the feel of a book and the physical value it has when you hold a whole story/world in your hands
