Ducks get nearly zero nutrition from bread. It fills them up and they do not benefit

It can severely hurt their stomach and digestive systems as they are. Not capable of digesting it.

I thought they ate pebbles an such to help digest food like bread, rice an such? Cause if it really hurts them then that sucks cause what else would be good to give them that can be bought at the store for a decent price. I wonder if dry dog food would be ok to give them?

Ahhh yup makes since, cause they don’t have teeth to chew them up. Glad ya pointed that out. Hate to kill one of my buds cause I choked them cause I gave them a full grape.

however bread is a very sweet treat for them so if you have a personal pond that ducks chill in from time to time a slice of bread (like a slice for 2-3 ducks) every other week wont do much harm, but not all the time cause it can disrupt their digestive system,
