I'm not sure of the whole story, but I read something that the starfire actress posted about how they took a very bad picture while it was 15 degrees out, and you shouldn't judge the show based off the one bad picture.
The dress I can almost understand, given some of the costumes in the comics, and they may be doing some adjustments in post production, though combining it with the suede knee boots is...just weird
At this point, I'm not sure if DC can do anything right

So which is it, nerds?
Does the story and character development matter more than the way a show/movie/game looks or do we stoop to bitching about the look whenever we are predetermined to hate something?
Well no shit you want the story to be good but with costumes that look so insanely cheap how do you expect us to react? If they can’t make the effort to make the costumes well then it also follows that they may not put any effort into the script, directing, and editing

Not necessarily. The Amazing Spider-Man 2 had the best Spidey costume ever put to screen and that movie is hands down the worst of all the films.
Don't get me wrong, your logic makes sense so it should work both ways, right? They put a lot of effort into making that costume look as good as it did, so the movie should have equally stellar scripting, directing, and editing right?
Clearly that isn't always the case.
This show has all the potential in the world to be a steaming pile of shit, but I can promise you the costume design will only be the cherry on top rather than the main culprit.
DC can't make movies for shit these days but from what I've heard they can make some decent TV shows. Fans of Arrow and Flash seem to be pretty pleased with what's been done with Arrow and Flash for the most part. I say have a little faith. Once footage starts getting out I'll probably be nitpicking like everybody else, but I'll be nitpicking some actual footage.
There is nothing can defend those two
A blind person can make a better starfire
