It's okay to be *inserts something negative* here
But it's not okay to stay that way
And it's even way way not at all okay to think that staying *that negative thing again* is okay
This pisses me off to no end. I keep being told that I'm pretty the way I am and should be positive about my body. But I am not happy with it because I can't even go up four flights of stairs without wheezing. Body Health should be the norm not this.
I'm the exact same way. I believe no one should be told they're ugly or anything because of how they look, and shaming is never a good thing. But making people aware of the effects of an unhealthy lifestyle is very important. Also people need to realize that being told you're not living healthily isn't shaming. If anything it should be seen as someone caring enough about you living a long, comfortable life to want to help you achieve that.
Yes! Hey be happy with who you are and love your body but if you are actually obese and nothing medical prevents your from losing weight love your body and take care of it. When you get older, it will be harder and caregivers will suffer!
as someone who is chubby, i dont believe it's body shaming for other people to want you to be healthy and not weighed down by your own putrid fat. if you're so fat you cant walk up stairs without going into cardiac arrest, the problem is you, not the people "fat shaming"
