10 years max for first offense, if they get the heaviest sentencing, which often they don't. There are cases everyday of rapists getting off with 6 months and a slap on the wrist.
The guy who raped me was convicted of raping his 12 year old daughter, was out in 1 year, convicted of another rape and let on parole and while on parole raped me, only then was he sentenced to life (which is only 40 years)
When it comes to rape, especially incest and pedophilia, there should be no 3rd strike, it should be first strike and you are no longer a threat to society

You're taking the maximum sentence for graffiti, which your're unlikely to actually serve unless you're an idiot that's been convicted 20 times, and comparing it to some ridiculous, outrageous sentences for rape. Graffiti can be painted over, it makes no sense someone convicted of that should get more time than a rapist at all
