I love chameleons... specifically Panther or Vieled Chameleons... favorite lizard followed by Leopard Geckos and then Water Basilisks.

So at what age do they start to learn to change their skin to match their surroundings?

From birth. They don't actually try and match surroundings... it's way more emotional.... the surroundings part just happens subconsciously.
