How was he breathing if his suit was unpressurized? Unless it was pressurized around his tail and feet and even then his blood vessels would have not liked the lack of atmosphere for very longz

Ascertaining the reasoning behind faults in realism of creations that are meant to reflect specific aspects of life (this one reflecting the perceived mind of a dog in a cute/comical format) is a fairly logical thing to do. Where it becomes illogical is when you do the same with something meant only to vaguely reflect life like that of loony toons or the Flintstones.
