Roseanne got fired (justifiably) for comments made on social media, unrelated to her show or network. Samantha Bee made an extremely vulgar sexist slur LIVE on her show and she doesn't get a slap on the wrist, and even gets encouraged by other female stars. There is a definite media bias there.
Roseanne made a comment about a black former aid being "Muslim brotherhood + Planet of the Apes", as well as spouting a conspiracy theory that is ludicrous about a philanthropist who donates heavily to the Democratic party

Well I don't know her. It is really that worthy of a reaction? I mean the tweet is of course horrible but, what about this Roseanne? Is it the first time she posted something like that?
Edit: Know*
She's got issues. An aging comedian/actress and she's been spouting more and more heavily right wing conspiracy theory level propaganda of late. Samantha Bee is a left wing comedian who called Ivanka Trump a "feckless c*nt" because of her father's actions. Personally I feel they both need to be pulled off air, but of the two, Roseanne has the least justification due to the fact that her rant was on an entirely separate platform than her show.
The left was all too happy to see Rosanne lose her job because her actions would’ve affected her employer’s bottom line, not one of them said,”what about her freedom of speech”. I’m trying to think of an example where employees actions while in uniform were harming an employer’s sales and the employer was castigated by the same people for taking action. I’m sure if I think a while it will come to me.

I dont think that saying her views and making a comparision(which wasnt racist, lady can pass for white) cpuldve been that bad, but she was white and conservative, so.....
She's made it clear she is a big Trump supporter, and he of her. He even called her to congratulate her on the shows premiere. I seriously doubt he does that with every star. Once upon a time she was much more liberal but not anymore.

Celtic, you seem like you miss her.
Not to be rude, but do you miss when Roseanne was liberal?
I have no idea. Honestly I just assume someone goes through and downvotes every comment, so unless someone upvotes its red

Yeah, thats been happening with a lot of my comments.
If i dont say something insanely funny or popular, my comment(and any in the subsequent thread) gets downvoted to hell.
I swear there are more trolls than ever on this sight

They target certain users, I know it.
Im not sure(due to use unable to see our dislikes), but for every decently popular user, there two or more guests following. That doesnt account for users that dislike, and thats certainly a possibility, but im sure there are trolls here. They may also be political. Could be altrighters, or extreme leftists. Either way, they hate the people on this site.
I am more than a little right of center. Sometimes that makes certain comments popular, but it often leads to silent down-votes on everything else I say.
Well I tried to find out what this was all about and so far all I've learned is musk apparently tweeted out (among other tweets) saying he wants to open a website or something to help rank the accuracy of news stories, and that journalists often cater to advertisers and intentionally create clickbait.
I'm sure not all journalists do that, but I've certainly seen some-- especially the clickbait thing.
Trying to learn more devolved into a lot of people seeming to imply Elon musk was attacking a microbiologist because she was female? I can only assume that's why they felt the need to repeatedly point out what gender the microbiologist was, and bring up the fact that he only follows one woman on twitter. I didn't see Elon mention gender at all in the originating tweets from him, though, so I'm not sure if I missed something. From what I saw, it just looked like he was saying he doesn't think microbiology is sound science? (cont)
Whatever the case, people responded by basically telling him he's an ignorant sasquatch of a human being, and (largely implied that because he has so much money) he really needs to be more responsible and not voice opinions people don't like about things he doesn't understand.
People who like Elon musk then immediately jumped to the plate and started flooding this woman with tweets (no word yet on whether the Internet has decided they were doing this because she's a woman) and now she's feeling harassed and Elon has basically said welcome to life on the Internet as a response.
Not sure if I got all the facts or not. Mostly seems to be a typical twit-storm involving a celebrity, the things the celebrity doesn't like, and the people who don't like him. I'll give the post an 8/10 in accuracy, just cause further research was required.
