Friendly food

Welp guess you have 2 pets now.

That mouse must have a disease, snakes can smell it and avoid food that makes them sick. Or just a cuddly buddy.

The snake may not be hungry. Snakes won't always eat just because there is food available. In a few days (or weeks depending on the breed), the snake will almost certainly eat it.
