Oh yeah, shelters aren’t really a thing where I live so you have to go to breeders, and the certified ones often charge up to €500, sometimes even more

That sucks, there are quite a few shelters close to me... it's usually a bad place to get cats though, nearly all of them are outdoor cats and will eventually run away lol.
