I swear he's going to be the longest running joke in history. He's only been in for a little over a year and we already have enough material for a lifetime.

The best part is, hes actually getting shit done.
And maybe when he dies, people will say "Maybe he wasnt Hitler"
The fact that he just met with Kim is a show to his idiocy. The man has his people exicuted with anti-aircraft guns, and his family members murdered, but Trump said he's not a bad guy bc people have done the same. Also Kim laughed his ass off all the way back to NC. He got exactly what he wanted. A meeting with a U.S. President. They only reason President hasnt met with NC is because all NC wants is us to pull our troops out of SC. Which is a horrible idea bc they are an extremely important ally in South East Asia. But Trump just stated that he will start to reduce our troops numbers. Also, the paper that they signed said nothing about exact dates to denuclearizing NC. It simply stated that Kim promises to give a date in the future. So really Trump got absolutely nothing done. Except put NC on equal standing on the world stage.
Like honestly isnt he supposed to work it out with words and shiz and not just yell at him from across the water like other presidents. Stop assuming everything that is going on and let them work it out we will find out what happens here soon no need to go on assuming everything that happens and yelling about how nothing has changed.
I'm sure I'll piss at least 20% of this website off with this question, but I'm genuinely curious/asking.. What has he actually gotten done?
I mean, so far, from all I've heard, he's met with people and accomplished nothing, made outrageous comments that have lowered his credibility to zero, offended half the sane world with his racism, sexism, and hypocrisy, and destroyed trade deals and relationships with nearly everyone in existence, except Putin for some reason that I feel hasn't been explored strongly enough.
He hasn't built his wall, he hasn't united America, he hasn't improved the economy, he's terrorized a good deal of America's workforce (like it or not, immigrants do make up a large percentage of the workforce), he's surrounded himself entirely with yes-men because his ego can't take anything else, he hasn't denuclearized north korea-- although I'm sure the population of BOTH Koreas REALLY enjoyed the game of chicken the two of them were playing
He DID have Kim Kardashian in the Whitehouse, though, which I guess is a... thing that happened.
At this point, even if he did do something small that I've not heard about, I don't see how it could outweigh all the absolute bullshit, fear, and hate he's sown since he was elected, or all the stuff he HASN'T actually done anything about
On a different note, there's a baby falcon outside, and this feels a very important issue, so I must go see it
Ima let someone answer dis i jumped out of the political games cause they gay af. Just yelling and screaming and all sorts of shiz even though nothing ever changes
@trashmanrevenge probably a wise decision all around. If it weren't for Trudeau's eyebrows, Trump's height, and Putin's pigeons, I'm sure many of us would have done the same a long time ago
@xvarnah well just a short list of some major things Trump has done so far: Lowered unemployment, established better relations with Russia (no we weren’t enemies I know, but they are not our BFF), began actual negotiations with North Korea that seem to be getting somewhere (I’ll admit, nobody can say for sure so it’s up to your discretion as to if this is a valid point or not), and moved the embassy to Jerusalem (something the past 6 or so presidents claimed they would do, and didn’t). Trump keeps his promises so far. I’m not a die hard Trump fan, but I’m actually optimistic that he could get some stuff done
Repost of comment because of a misclick, and me being a failure at life in general:
"I see someone was apparently offended enough to downvote me, but unwilling or unable to leave an actual answer to my question. So that went about as well as I was expecting. <.<"
I'll give you the Jerusalem one, @domoclan, and I appreciate you actually taking the time to answer
I don't really see the relationship with Russia thing as being something accomplished because, in all honesty, the whole thing is insanely shady, below board, and I don't think trusting Putin is in anybody's best interest.
I also don't see the thing with North Korea as being an accomplishment since he's likely done as much damage as he's repaired with them, and literally every negotiation seems to be a giant joke where he walks away saying "see what I did!" And then absolutely nothing has actually changed. But that's just what I've seen.
If the employment thing is true, then that's certainly a positive, though I can't help but wonder if it's not at the cost of immigrants-- illegal or not. And I'm sure a lot of people don't care if illegals lose their jobs, but they're still people. I suppose you can just leave them to die in the streets, but that hardly sounds like the American way
Tbh I think America is one of the greatest nations in the world, and my question was sincere, not intending to offend, but for some reason a lot of people get their dicks in a twist anytime you point out any flaw in Trump's presidency. It's gotten to the point of being comical, which is kind of sad.
It makes me truly sad to see so much discontent and bullshit-- and literally 50% of anything Trump has ever said or tweeted seems to have had its root in bullshit-- coming out of the mouth of a man who is supposed to be representing such a great people.
I hope, at the end of the day, that he proves you right and does accomplish at least some of what he's said he will.
I think we can both agree that Trump has quite a mouth. As much as I like him so far we can stand together that he needs to shut up sometimes. And as for Russia, I’ve hated Putin for as long as I can remember really, but it’s best to try and avoid wars and other major conflicts, so keeping good relations with them is a step in the right direction imo. Maybe we disagree but at least we can be civil and kind about it.
Just a quick sidenote..I live in Florida where all of America's winter strawberries come from. One quick drive down HWY 60 will wake everybody up on why they should care if illegal immigrants should keep their jobs. 99.9% of them are awesome people, with beautiful families, and who are bent over at a 90° angle 12 hrs a day to pick the nation's beeries. America would literally plunge to economical chaos if they were all deported. No strawberries, no oranges, hardly any produce of any kind comming out of states like California or Florida. Feel like all the other topics were covered above. Just to stoke the famed a little tho, how about that lawsuit filed today? Trump using veterans organizations all over the country to illegally fund his campaign through his charity?
And maybe when he dies, people will say "Maybe he wasnt Hitler"
