Guys. (2x+6)/2. Now if you half that, it makes x+3. Take away x and you have three. Bogus

Yes, that is the joke. It's pretty obvious when it says take away the original number.

Actually if I half (2x+6)/2 I get x/2 + 1.5, take away x and I get -x/2 + 1.5
Luckily my number was (-3) so it still works. Spooky
