ublock origin is better, and on mobile adguard or YMusic / Youtube Vanced.. i had adblock before for a long time, but then it got buggy & didn't block everything.. on android adblock can't block the youtube ads because they are served over https.. so adguard is the only good way to block ads now if you watch youtube with a browser (the youtube app itself is buggy and have audio & video sync problems..stuttering etc)

As much as I hate ads I won't install adblocker for YouTube. Other websites sure but ad revenue is how many of my favorite youtubers make money

after youtube destroyed their ad programm for small youtubers (= me), and most youtubers just make videos to get cash from their viewers.. i don't give a f*ck about it anymore. youtubers putting 4-7 affiliate links in the description + 6-7 ads in a 10minute video, making their own products they sell for a to high price, selling merch, don't mark ads in their descriptions even if the goverment say they need to etc.. till this don't change, i don't see a reason to disable my adblockers. mostly because i don't even watch ads anyway & don't buy products from the ads. i hate ads & don't watch them.. so there is not reason to wait 1-2minutes for a whole ad to be played for just a 1 minute video. imho.
