Terrorist doesn't exclusively mean middle eastern. Every ethnicity has had their fair share of them. The ones claiming to be Muslim are just the ones currently relevant to the media. Also I don't see at all how an education would deter someone from murdering for their beliefs. Usually it's the smart ones that do the most damage with that stuff examples being hitler and Chairman Mao tho mao was less beliefs and more just evil shit but still the ones who are smart are usually the main problem in any of these situations especially when they get the education to use their intelligence better.

Creating bombs isn't something stupid people can do. Planing for attacks aren't things stupid people can do. Evil takes a smart mind or multiple smart minds to function at that level
