No.If you have an outstanding warrant then the police can arrest you as long as you give them your information. The dumbest thing about this is that they used a rented facility and at my count 12 police officers to nab 24 individuals that they could have caught at their home since they knew their mailing address. It was a publicity stunt. Hey look how cool us police folks are. Har, har. It's like those 'To catch a predator' shows. They almost always fail to file charges.
@strongsad Nah. Entrapment is if they tricked you into doing something illegal in an attempt to arrest you for that crime. False pretenses is related more to stealing like paying for goods with a bad check.
@this_isntme Yeah, but serving arrest warrants are time consuming and don't always work cuz the person can just hide or leave or not come back to their home. This brings the criminals to you.
