Small house in an island

Only the Kruger family was ballsy enough to put a house in the middle of Crystal lake.

This is difficult for me as Floridian. All I see at first is an unprotected house that would be gone in the first Hurricane that hit. I'm guessing this is in Northern Europe somewhere and has practically no high wind storms.

I know I'll get shit for this, but... "on an island"
