I feel like all the people who chose time travel would fuck up the past and would never become who they are today, or never exist at all, so the people who chose teleport would be the only ones left. But there would also be the people who never saw this at all, so it would turn out as a society where the teleporters are all kind of science projects in the eyes of regular humans. Normal people would end up using what would basically be like the Fugitive Slave Act and would have to bring teleporters back to wherever they came from, and they would therefore not be treated equal. I don't really want either with the way I see it.
