Usually not “jacked” as much as “cut” but it depends. When you do a lot of walking, running long distance or up and down stairs you develop slow twitch muscle. When you do short bursts at high resistance you develop fast twitch muscle. To see the difference look at a marathon runner or pro cyclists. They tend to be muscular, but slim, very little fat or “bulk.” That is slow twitch “endurance” muscle like many delivery drivers would develop. Then look at someone like a football player who performs many short but intense actions with breaks in between. That’s fast twitch fiber. It’s hard to develop both at once in the same muscle groups, but to an extent everyone has some of both types. That’s why you don’t usually see marathon runners competing in power lift competitions on weekends, or sprinters doing distance races.
