They are not "trying to debunk this", it has been debunked. Valid topic, irrelevant photo and false fact.

Let's take one small step back from the bad meme from a grandma's Facebook, and consider the valid topic of texting while driving:
-We keep running "you could kill someone, maybe even yourself" campaigns, and it's not changing anything. That's likely connected to an "it won't happen to me" mentality, because it actually doesn't happen to most text-and-drivers.
-I submit that we replace said campaign with "we've seen one car NOT make it through this green light that should have for every light cycle today that had at least one driver texting. Nobody died, but at least one person is late to work every day because someone else was texting and driving.
Don't be an ***hole, don't text and drive."
