Low flying wingsuit pilots

I'm not really good at explaining or expressing my self so I'll just give you this to understand.
top of the mountain

So basically, before they reach the base of the mountain. They redirect their bodies to move away from the mountain, thus gaining a bit of distance from the ground and allowing them to use their parachutes. (*internal screaming* OMG I'm explaining!)

I guess I could see how that would work... It would have to be a dang steep mountain, though.
