I wouldn't have served them, I was leaving a popcorn place bc they were closing, a cop starts running up there and we tell him they're about to close in like 2 minutes but he runs in and gets something anyway
On the contrary, I once needed an item from a store but the guys at the door refused to let me in, 10min before the closing hours.
Now, I can understand the logic behind this, as they didn't know if I wasn't lying to them after all. But it shoud have been written somewhere, because that's infuriating, and they could have been polite about it.
The thing I needed? Pads. I needed them *badly* and in my period-bitchiness I sat down on the ground next to the guys, looked at them and blasted nyan cat on my cellphone for the 17minutes it actually took them to lock the doors. (I would not have normally done that but you're not yourself when you're sitting in a puddle of your own stinky blood).
