I used to throw slipper at my brother (he had it coming, don't be a little bitch and tell me how I should raise my brother) and made him pick it up and hand it to me politely so I could throw it at him again

Shes just educating her grand kids, little brat probably had it coming. That's the problem with kids now days they're not disciplined.

Hitting a kid as discipline shows a lack of discipline on the adults part.

Depends if it is the only discipline you use, and use it all the time, or if it is from time to time. Kids won't always understand reason, sometimes a good spanking is the only thing that will get through to the kid.
