I wonder how long it can last

They typically last for decades as long as they’re taken care of. If they rust they’ll be destroyed, but if not they will last longer than a typical wooden house. Plus no termites or bugs will destroy the supports.
The problem is there is virtually zero resale market, you pretty much will have it until it’s destroys, so they’re terrrible investment homes.
